Campaign Training
We provide a detailed overview of candidate/district/issue, Q&A review of likely questions the team will get in the field, and cover the script and key talking points for all canvassers to ensure they are ready at the door. These trainings are comprehensive – not a fact-sheet-and-go approach, but with roleplaying, practice, and repetition.
Conduct & Compliance Training
All canvassers are informed of the dress code, professionalism expectations, and project objectives. We have a zero-tolerance fraud policy for both canvassing and signature gathering. We also provide a full training to meet the standards of the Secretary of State petition handbook when applicable.
Tech Training
Canvassers are training on our canvass application on a Blitz iPad or smartphone. The app includes time tracking and individual user logins.

GPS Tracking
Blitz pioneered electronic audit methods several years ago, and we have stayed on the cutting edge of this technology. Our canvass application provides GPS tracking and timestamps to ensure that canvassers were at the doors when they say they were. Every door knocked by a Blitz canvasser is audited daily to ensure the highest level of integrity.
In-Field Audits
Blitz auditors perform field checks on our canvassers regularly, and do everything from check on uniforms, to how literature is hung on doors, to having conversations with voters about their interactions with canvassers. Our auditors also walk doors with canvassers, coach them, and ensure data is being entered correctly. This method is needed for true quality control – and is unique in this industry.
